AUTISM CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK
Autism Walk 2007
There were more than 2,000 members and supporters who joined the 1st Autism Walk in 2006. The Philippine Daily Inquirer published front page features on autism for one week and major TV and radio stations covered the event.
Angel's Walk 2008
All Angels must have been missing from heaven on the morning of January, 27, 2008, Sunday….Because thousands of them flew to the Liwasang Aurora in Quezon Memorial Circle. Truly, angels walked for autism in an unprecedented number of attendees, consisting of PWAs, their families and friends, professionals, institutions as well as government and non-government agencies. TV networks, ABS-CBN 2, GMA-7 and RPN-9 were also present to cover the event. Together, they all joined forces to successfully culminate the 12th National Autism Consciousness Week Celebration.
Painting Contest

The 12th National Autism Consciousness Week celebrates the God-given gifts of individuals with autism, as they provide an opportunity to develop and showcase their artistic abilities. The event took place last January 23 at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Conference Room,Visayas Avenue, Quezon City. It was participated by more than 66 individuals with autism from the public SPED centers, private special schools and therapy centers from Metro Manila and the neighboring towns. ABS-CBN, GMA 7 and NBN 4 covered the exciting event.
Family Day
 
Families and relatives of persons with autism gathered at SM North EDSA on the 28th of February, 2007. The PWAs showcased their talents and had fun playing parlor games.
CONCERTS
 
For ASP and all the supporters of persons with autism, the highlight of the concert was the performance of Thristan "Tumtum" Mendoza. Tumtum has autism endowed with exceptional talent to play the marimba.

A duo-concert "Romantic Piano Journey" featuring Ingrid Sala Santa Maria & Reynaldo Reyes last August 2, 2007. Prof. Reyes has a son with autism. He shared the positive effects of classical music to his son and to other person with disabilities during the event.
ALYANA-A Study of Autism in the Philippines

Made within a span of two-and-a-half years, the film traces the history of autism in the Philippines dating back to the 1970s when awareness about the disability was practically nil. It shows the plight and the struggle of persons with autism, their families, and those involved in their lives, especially focusing on the experiences of Mothers in handling and coping up with the situation of having an autistic child.
Oral history in treatment, the filmmaker Ms. Mirana Medina takes the audience along with her in a personal quest to find out what autism really is, starting with the case of her grand niece Alyana, the only member of their family with autism.
